Specialist Certified Paediatric Osteopathy to Support Your Little Ones

Supporting you and your little ones

as they grow

Baby Osteopathy has a gentle non-invasive approach to addressing a number of issues and is very beneficial for unsettled babies. By working holistically and looking at the whole body, Cranial Osteopathy can provide comfort and relief to your little one and help bring balance. Osteopathy for children and teenagers is also gentle and can be a combination of Cranial and Structural Osteopathy which may include gentle movements, stretches and soft tissue or fascial release. It can also act as a general check-up to answer any questions or worries you may have, as well as offering support and advice on stretches, nutrition and helpful products.

It can be overwhelming when your baby is unsettled and experiencing difficulties yet they can’t tell you why! And whether or not you’re a first time mum, it can still be a daunting experience especially when you feel like recovery is taking longer or you don’t feel like yourself yet.

This is why we offer Mum & Baby Osteopathy appointments where you can both get treatment, in a safe nurturing space and get to have some TLC yourself. So whether you book in for yourself, your little one or together, we are here to take some of that pressure off by guiding and supporting you as best we can in a calm environment.

In addition to the four year integrated masters, our Osteopath Sim has carried out hundreds of hours of specialist paediatric training and has gained immense experience working alongside experts in Paediatric Osteopathy at the Osteopathic Centre for Children, so you can have peace of mind knowing that your little one is in capable hands. Here at Refine we offer Paediatric Osteopathy as well as Mum and Baby Osteopathy appointments.

The treatment is consists mostly of cranial osteopathy which is gentle yet enough to make a big difference to the issues your little one is experiencing. They won’t feel any pain or soreness but can be a bit tired or unsettled afterwards as it can feel like a big change for them. It looks at bringing about more balance to the bodies systems as well as helping with strains and tensions through the body.
